Pedestrian footbridges transform into ESG solar power stations

Many public and private buildings have explored the installation of solar energy systems on their rooftops. However, some buildings have designated their rooftops as fire separation layers in their architectural plans, which must be used for temporary evacuation during a fire or for waiting for rescue. This adds complexity to the installation proposals. Moreover, the general public may not fully understand the significance of using solar energy alternatives to reduce carbon emissions from a "close-up" perspective. However, there is one type of public facility where the installation of solar equipment is relatively quick and feasible, allowing all citizens of Hong Kong to witness the benefits: pedestrian footbridges.
