Is dual listing competition or a win-win?


Despite the weak capital market, many Singapore companies have recently been seeking overseas listings, indicating their strong demand for capital. One of the reasons these companies choose not to list in Singapore is the lack of diversity in the industries represented by Singapore-listed companies. Investors are also quietly concerned that if inflation has a persistent nature, the Fed may not cut interest rates or may only do so slightly, which would significantly harm riskier assets like stocks.
